Meet the Counselor

Hello Chamberlin Family!

It is a joy to serve the students, parents, and staff at Chamberlin Elementary as your school counselor! This year is my 14th year in education and my 4th year as a School Counselor. I have had the pleasure of working as an early childhood educator which includes teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades before becoming a School Counselor.

I am a proud wife and mom. I have a son, Myles, who is my pride and joy. We all enjoy spending time together as a family going to the zoo, playing outside, and creating. My hobbies include running, crafting and baking cookies.

I am passionate about helping children grow emotionally and socially as they progress through school and beyond. I continually partner with teachers and parents to help meet the needs of students.  This may look like small groups of students, meeting with students individually, or classroom lessons.  I also visit classrooms throughout the school year to teach lessons that focus on relationships, kindness, respect, integrity, career choice, and friendship skills, and more. I am also the 504 coordinator on our campus.

I am here to answer questions or discuss your concerns regarding your child’s development or well-being at school, so please contact me anytime should the need arise. Let’s make this school year the BEST!
