The 2008-2009 School year is here! I am excited to have your child in P.E.
It is my hope that students will enjoy their P.E. classes, but more importantly that they will understand the importance of being physically fit. Your child will be involved in an overall fitness approach, with participation and effort being of greatest importance. I want the students to know that we can all benefit from exercise. Physical fitness is for everyone!
If you child is unable to participate in P.E. due to illness or injury, please send a note with your child. A doctor's direction must be provided if the curriculum is to be modified for more than (5) consecutive days. I would appreciate any information of special health problems or needs your child may have.
All students need to wear tennis shoes to P.E. Dress shoes, sandals, boots, and shoes with high heels and buckles are not appropriate. Girls wearing dresses should wear shorts underneath. These rules are for your child's safety in P.E.
